“We’re all (mostly) in our 30s and 40s now, so this is very much a musical love letter to the joyful music playing in the car when we were growing up,” says guitarist and bandleader Jay Barclay. “We’ve carefully curated a perfect mixtape to keep everyone smiling and lost on the dance floor for hours. People feel happy at our shows, and that’s just so great. It’s evocative and nostalgic, for sure, but the songs hold up! We started this band for fun, now it’s the best job in the world.”
